About the Missing Children Screensaver
In cooperation with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) , Global Software Applications (GSA) has developed a screensaver to raise awareness of missing children cases, both old and new.
A screensaver is a computer program that covers the display screen or fills it with moving images or patterns when the computer has been idle for a designated time. Instead of using a common screensaver, put your screen's idle time towards a good cause. We recommend displaying the case information of kids that are currently missing.
The software can also be run on other public displays, such as digital signage systems.
Missing Kids Saver
Considered the modern day milk-carton, the Missing Kids screensaver will display cases from the NCMEC. Putting this screensaver on computers in offices, libraries, police stations, and in other publicly visible locations means that it will be viewed by more people. Greater visibility will increase the chances that the missing kids will be brought home.
An even wider audience can be reached when the cases are displayed on digital signage systems in high traffic areas such as department stores, rest areas, truck stops, and more.
